Dato’ Toh Eng Keat

Managing Director

Dato’ Toh, a Malaysian, aged 49, is our Executive Director. He was appointed to our Board on 26 November 2020. He has been instrumental to the business growth and development of our Group since acquiring MNSB in 2012 with Loy Siong Hay. He is responsible for managing and implementing our Group’s business development plans and strategies, particularly in the operations of MNSB’s underground utilities engineering business. 

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1999.

Upon his graduation, he joined Prima Inter-Chem Sdn Bhd in 1999 as a Sales Executive where he was responsible for the marketing and sales of the company’s food chemical products. In 2000, he left Prima Interchem Sdn Bhd and joined B&G Intertrade Sdn Bhd as Marketing and Operations Executive where he supported the marketing and operations teams in promotional activities as well as daily sales operations.

He then left B&G Intertrade Sdn Bhd and joined B&G World Sdn Bhd in 2004 as Marketing Manager, overseeing a team of sales personnel promoting the company’s piping products. In 2006, he was transferred from B&G World Sdn Bhd to Best Ventures Sdn Bhd (later known as B&G Concept Engineering Sdn Bhd) as Marketing Manager, where he was responsible for business development activities for underground utility projects. Subsequently, in 2007, he was promoted to Project Manager, where he was involved in overseeing underground utility projects.

In 2008, he left B&G Concept Engineering Sdn Bhd (previously known as Best Ventures Sdn Bhd) and joined MNSB as a General Manager where he was involved in business development activities, overseeing daily operations as well as project management of the company’s underground utilities construction projects. In 2010, Dato’ Toh was appointed as an Executive Director of MNSB and subsequently in 2011, Dato’ Toh became a shareholder of MNSB. In his current role as Executive Director, he is responsible for overseeing the operations of MNSB’s underground utilities engineering business, as well as leading business development activities.
