Datuk Dang Siong Diang, a Malaysian, aged 48, is our Executive Director. He was appointed to our Board on 15 December 2020. He is responsible for managing and implementing our Group’s business development plans and strategies, particularly in the operations of MPTSB’s substation engineering business. 

He graduated with a Bachelor in Electronic and Electrical from the Robert Gordon University, Scotland in 1997.

He began his career upon graduation as a Sales and Services Engineer at ABB Malaysia Sdn Bhd in 1997 where he was involved in sales as well as after sales activities of power engineering products. In 2001, he left ABB Malaysia Sdn Bhd and joined YPN Electrical Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd as Project Manager before being promoted to the role of Project Director in 2012. He was responsible for overseeing, managing and delivering electrical engineering projects undertaken by the company, including power engineering construction projects.

After leaving YPN Electrical Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd, he joined MPTSB as Managing Director in December 2012. As Managing Director of MPTSB, he was involved in business development activities and manages day-to-day operations as well as project management of MPTSB’s substation engineering projects. Currently, as an Executive Director of the Group, he is responsible for overseeing the operations of MPTSB’s substation engineering business as well as leading business development activities.
